Dr. Seuss

We read The Cat in the Hat.  We made inferences about Conrad and Sally and then found envidence to support our inferences. 





Working with Word Families.






    We made Thing 1 while learning about the -ing family.  We made lots of silly sentences. 





We made a Cat in the Hat glyph, analyzed our data that we collected and wrote sentences about our glyph. 






We read One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue fish. 



                 Before reading the story, we created a mental image of one of the characters. 



We made our own silly creatures and wrote about them.

After reading Green Eggs and Ham, we made green eggs and ham and used a flow map to write down our steps.  Yum!
