November

We read In November and brainstormed what November means...

November is a time to be thankful.

Letter X

We had fun learning about the letter X.  We played tic tac toe and went on an x hunt in our school.
There sure are a lot of EXIT signs!

Happy Birthday!

We are losing our teeth!

We are learning about the attributes of shapes.  We made triangles.

Getting ready for the 50th day of school!

We are getting ready for the 50th day of school!  I introduced the children to a 1950 powerpoint comparing life today and of long ago.

We rolled two die and added them together.  We colored till we had 50 records.

We worked together and counted out 50 gumballs.

Can you blow a bubble?

Happy Halloween

We had so much fun this past week.  Check out all of our Halloween learning activities.

We read Where the Wild Things Are and made text to self connections.

We read Go Away Big Green Monster and learned all about describing words the author used.  I read the book without showing the children the pictures.  They had to use their listening skills to draw what the author was describing.

We are learning to make connections.  We read the story Bear Feels Scared.  We shared a time when we felt scared.
