Walruses

We learned many interesting facts about Walruses.  We enjoyed taking notes while we read nonfiction books about this very large mammal.

The Arctic Zone

We sang a poem about Walruses and acted it out.

Did you know that Walruses front teeth can be over three feet tall?  We learned how to take care of our own teeth.
Can you name a healtlhy snack?

We conducted a little experiment.  We took a hard boiled egg and soaked it in coke over night.  What happened?

Sugar in an invisible enemy to teeth.  Each time sugar is eaten, bacteria in the mouth produce tooth-decaying acids.  We learned how important it is to brush our teeth to help sugar from making cavities.  We brushed away at our stained egg.
