Family Traditions

We discussed our family traditions and learned about the seven continents.  We learned how others around the world celebrate during this time of the year.

We made a special snack.

Our Special Guest

We enjoyed our visits with Ms. Rebecca.  She was amazing and the children learned so many things.  We did so much it's so hard to list them all so check out the video.

Kindness

We read the story How the Grinch Stole Christmas.  We thought of some ways to make the Grinch grin.

We discussed the word kindness and acted out what kindness looks like.

We read the story One Smile and found out how one little smile changed lives of many.

All I Want For Christmas!

Gingerbread Houses

We had a great time building our Gingerbread Houses.  Thank you so much for all of your help.

"You Can't Catch Me!"

We practiced how to read maps.  We read a map of our school and found a surprise.

Here are some of our Gingerbread Centers.

We made our own Gingerbread Man and wrote about him.

We found out why the Gingerbread Man did not cross the river by himself.

How many gingerbread cookies are in the jar?

Which part of the cookie did you bite first?

"Dough"

What can you make from flour?

We had a great time reading different versions of the Gingerbread Man.

 We made our own playdough!
